Using Augmented Reality to Enhance Students’ Representational Fluency: The Case of Linear Functions

Using multiple representations is advocated and emphasized in mathematics science education. However, many students have difficulty connecting of linear functions. Augmented Reality (AR) may affect these teaching learning difficulties by offering dynamically linked representations. Inspired this, our study aims to develop, implement, evaluate an AR-based multi-representational environment (MRLE) with three The data were collected from 82 seventh graders two high-performing classes urban area China, through a pre-test, post-questionnaire, follow-up interviews. results reveal that satisfied the MRLE, which assisted enhancing their understanding real-life, symbolic, graphical connections among them.
